Certificate In Therapeutic Hypnosis
This foundation level course is held over three weekends and is an introductory course teaching the basics of hypnotherapy. Students will learn how to induce hypnosis in a safe and ethical way and is a largely practical course.
Following a multi-choice exam at the end of the third weekend successful students will be awarded the York Institute Certificate in Hypnotherapy.
The Certificate In Therapeutic Hypnosis course is suitable for:
- Students wishing to learn the basics of Hypnosis before taking the Hypnotherapy Diploma
- Students whose current job is to help clients or customers relax for example
- Beauty Therapists
- Massage Therapists
- Complementary Therapy practitioners
- Stress Managers

Course Fees:
£595 this includes exam and certification fees.
The deposit of £150 (non- refundable) is due on booking the course and the balance on or before weekend 2.
Diploma In Clinical Hypnotherapy
This advanced level course builds on the knowledge gained in the Certificate In Therapeutic Hypnosis foundation course. Students who have completed the Certificate in Therapeutic Hypnosis can 'fast-track' onto the Diploma course commencing their studies at Module 4 if they wish to do so.
The Diploma In Clinical Hypnotherapy course aims to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of Hypnotherapy enabling them to confidently and successfully start their own professional practice.
The emphasis of the Diploma Course is on the practical elements of clinical Hypnotherapy, the course is held over 8 weekends over 8 months and covers everything that is needed to embark on a professional career in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
The course is run on a continuous assessment basis with a final practical assessment on the last weekend. The course is accredited by ‘The Hypnotherapy Association UK’ meeting their high criteria, on completion of the course the student can hold a licentiate membership and Insurance coverage for their practice and allowing them to use the letters MBHA after their name.
We hold our courses in the comfortable surroundings of the Premier Inn, York with the next course beginning on the weekend of December 5th.
